My name is Emmeline Bien-  Aime, I migrated from Haiti to the United States With my mother at the age of 14 in 1974. My late mom, Suze Azemar is the one who instilled the love of sewing and embroidery in me. I am the proud owner of Made by Emmeline, a clothing and accessories brand. I produce handmade/ custom made apparels, I also make hand-painted tote bags, the panels are

Painted in Haiti and I  produce the tote bags in New York. Part of the profit from our sales goes directly to Haiti, where we help different artisans to support their families and educate their children. 

 

The brand started after I retired from teaching at the Department of Education in New York. The goal of this brand is to celebrate the culture, art and talent of Immigrants from Haiti and beyond. We use a variety of unique fabrics and prints from the United States, Africa, Asia and Haiti! We offer custom made garments, accessories, art, painting and fashionable products and handmade products. We use the best quality product and curate all of our products prior to shipping them to our customers.
